You can do this with the application that was sent out in November or online atwww.naplesgolfcourse.com. We are excited once again to participate in the Spring Golf Expo held February 20th and 21st at the Hoilday Inn by the Bay in Portland. This will allow us to show off our wonderful golf course and all the great things that we have to offer at Naples Golf & C.C. Also new this month is our web site. We have currently overhauled the web site to give it a fresh new look. With current information about the Club, we hope you visit often to stay on top of all of our activities and to be aware of any changes to events. We are still looking for member involvment in some committees. We would like to establish the following committees to allow us to be bettter informed about the members wishes and concerns at Naples. They are Tournament, Handicap & Rules and a Course Advisory Committee. If any member wishes to help out please email us at bob@naplesgolfcourse.com or call Bob at 310-8396. Golf Course News As the winter moves on and spring approaches, the golf course is progressing well. Each month we have been checking the conditions of the greens and course to verify that they are ice free and healing well. David Kroll, our golf course consultant believes our course is doing well this season, and moving in the right direction. As spring approaches and we see more green grass, more clean up work still needs to be done to pick up all the debris that was cut down from the removal of nearly 200 trees. This was done to help the course throughout the winter and to allow more sunlight in the summer time. We will continue to hope for an early spring to start a new and exciting 2010 golfing season.
