Sandtrap Grille Opens Sat May 1 The Sandtrap Grille opens its Spring schedule this Saturday. We have added many new tasty items to our menu: Cheesy Breadsticks, Tortilla Chips & Chunky Salsa, Texas Cheese Quesadilla, Country Chicken Salad Wrap, Salmon Cakes, and new Red Bliss Potato Home Fries with your breakfast. We still have your favorites: NGCC Burger, Tuna Ciabatta Melt, Bunker Club, Cajun Salmon Sandwich, and much more, including breakfast. During May, The Sandtrap Grille will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to late afternoon. If you can't wait, we will have a partial menu this Friday April 30. Come and enjoy good food with good friends!
The range balls have been picked up and washed, and are eagerly waiting in the ball machine. NGCC is now managing the driving range, and we hope to make it more easly available to our members and guests. NGCC members already receive a 25% discount on cart rentals, and now will receive a 20% discount on range balls. The range ball machine takes cash or you can purchase tokens in the Pro Shop. As an added benefit for our 2010 members, NGCC is now offering season passes for the driving range and a golf cart. NGCC is now managing the driving range, and we hope to make it more easily available to our members and guests. Driving Cart Summer Pass: Single - $425 Couple - $775
NGCC recently purchased a new used John Deere rough mower that you will be pleasantly surprised at its quality of cutting and speed. This is a good step in our ongoing efforts to improve the golf course quality and your golfing experience. Our motorized sand trap rake is now back in service. It has been down since last fall, but is now working well. For those of you who regularly play out of the sand traps, you will now enjoy yourself even more!

Men’s & Women’s Leagues Men’s League begins on Thursday June 3 at 5 pm. There is a $50 sign-up fee which includes the cost of the banquet. Women’s League begins on Wednesday June 2 at 5 pm. There is a $25 sign-up fee which includes the cost of the banquet. The sign-up sheets are up in the club house, so be sure to get your name on it by June 1! Members and non-members are welcome to join, and regardless of your handicap level. It is a great way to spend time with old friends and make new friends. Prizes are awarded each week and at the end of the season at the banquet.
Tuesday Night Scramble Starts May 11 The Tuesday Night Scramble begins on May 11 at 5 pm and continues weekly through September 21. It is a great time for all, with team gross and net prizes, and closest to the pin on the par 3’s. Please be sure to call in to the Pro Shop by 4 pm with your team member names/handicaps, or if you are a single and want to be assigned to a team. There is a limit of 14 teams and about 70 players, so get your name in early each Tuesday! Help Care For Our Course It takes very little effort for each of us to help keep our golf course in as great a shape as possible. We are working as hard as we can, but if each of you would not only fix your ball mark plus 1 or 2 others on each green, repair all of your divots on the fairway and tee box, and pick up your broken tees, then our course will stay great all season. | ||||||||
